On occassion of the EuFCN reception in Cannes on 16th May 2011 the Film Commission of the Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein presents itself with a new look.

“For our latest campaign we decided to focus on the variety of Northern Germany as a diversified and inviting shooting location,” says Christiane Scholz, Film Commissioner at the Hamburg office and Member of the EuFCN Board.

Her Kiel-based colleague Antje Reimer adds: “So we combined a typical urban shooting location in Hamburg with a rural spot at the Baltic Sea coast: the world famous and busy Reeperbahn in the heart of the hanseatic Entertainment District of St. Pauli and the beautifully blue coloured beach  huts on the Graswarder Halbinsel (lit: “Graswarder Peninsula”) in the Eastern parts of Schleswig-Holstein. Two Shots – One Region underlines the vivid and many-sided combination of vibrant locations in Germany’s second-largest city and the stunning beauty of coastal landscapes and marine motifs, ranging from the North Sea isles to the beaches of the Baltic.”
