Which of the two deciding committees will be responsible for the application for Sales and Distribution funding depends on what the film’s negative cost amounts to: if the film’s negative cost amounted to more than 800,000 euros, then Committee 1 is responsible, if it amounted to less than 800,000 euros, Committee 2 is responsible.
 

In addition to this, producers, and directors acting as producers of their own films, as well as distributors resp. world distributors can apply for loans for Sub-titling as well for grants for Basic Advertising and Special Measures (e.g. festival presentations). An adequate private investment is expected, measured on the extent of the measure applied for.The applications can be submitted any time and are not bound to the fixed Committee conference dates.
