Inselpark Wilhelmsburg

Since the Hamburg international garden show (IGS) has been ending, this area in the middle of the Wilhelmsburg district is open for the public. In the beautiful park you can chill out next to the water, you can go for a walk and the children have a place to run riot on high-quality playgrounds. The skating site is a highlight too. The park ranges over 100 hectares that formerly consisted of meadows, garden plots, biotopes and some impenetrable scrub. To realize the IGS, the area was completely redesigned.
