OMNI is a quick and easy online survey that allows the cast and crew of current film productions to voluntarily provide their data. In this way, information on diversity-relevant characteristics such as gender, flight history, religion, disability, experiences of discrimination and much more is to be collected on an ongoing basis. Results are compiled in regular reports and made available to the German film and media industry. Data protection in accordance with the GDPR and the applicable laws, as well as data security through hosting on certified servers within the EU, have the highest priority at all times. 

Dr Carsten Brosda, Senator for Culture and Media of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg: "The OMNI platform provides answers to the fundamental question of how diverse the German film and media industry actually is at the moment. Such a data basis is an important step. The results will lead to more diversity and equal opportunities in the long term. OMNI can thus contribute to making the diversity of our society visible in the film and media world."

The pilot phase, which is being scientifically supported by the Babelsberg Film University, kicked off at the Berlinale 2024, where MOIN Film Fund invited guests to an exclusive look behind the scenes. Also present were Claudia Roth, Minister of State for Culture and the Media, and - via video message - Hamburg's Senator for Culture Dr Carsten Brosda. Carsten Brosda Zamina Ahmad (founder of Shades&Contrast), Adam Smith (The Everyone Project), Prof. Dr Skadi Loist (Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF) as well as Helge Albers and Inga Becker (MOIN Film Fund) took to the stage. The morning was moderated by the actress Lara-Sophie Milagro ("Decolonised Glamour Talks"). 

"OMNI - Inclusion Data" was developed together with an industry-wide advisory board and implemented by the Hamburg agency never final. The role model and cooperation partner is "The Everyone Project", which has realised a similar tool for the Australian market.
